As Marketing Assistant I support the planning and delivery of VMA Group’s events and marketing campaigns, manage content creation across channels, and assist with our research and insight reports.
What did you do before you joined VMA?
I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2024 with First-Class Honours in BSc Marketing and Management with Industrial Experience. During my degree, I completed a placement at Samsung Electronics, focusing on TV/AV retail marketing and working closely with leading retailers such as Currys and Richer Sounds. After graduating, I gained experience as a Marketing Support Intern for a technology company where I supported their marketing activities across Europe, before joining the VMA Group team in 2025.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I thoroughly enjoy working on events because they create opportunities to bring people together, foster meaningful connections and facilitate knowledge sharing. Events allow individuals from diverse backgrounds to engage, collaborate and exchange ideas that might not occur in everyday settings. It is very rewarding to contribute to experiences that inspire learning and innovation whilst bringing people together.
What are your interests outside of work?
In my free time I enjoy being outside whether that is walking or running (my first half marathon is booked) however when I am not outside, I enjoy reading (fiction mainly) or watching a good film.
