I lead VMA Group’s North and Midlands practice for the UK, responsible for both permanent and interim searches. I have an unrivalled network of the industry’s top talent in the regions, built up over my career as the leading marcomms recruiter in the North, as well as my previous career as a communications consultant. I act as a trusted advisor with a deep understanding that allows me to identify the best match in a search or quickly grasp a client's need when recruiting into their team.

Prior to joining VMA Group, I spent my earlier career working in communications, both in-house and agency side, as well as in journalism. Having done the roles first hand, I am well placed to help clients find the right person and equally able to advise candidates on their next career move.

I'm able to quickly navigate a business’s requirements and advise on strategy to attract the best candidates. I'm known to get things done well, work collaboratively and flexibly - a person both candidates and clients want to work with.

Much of my work is through repeat business and recommendations, having worked as an advisor to professionals as they develop their careers in both client and candidate capacity. This gives me unique insight in to how an individual operates as a team leader as well as tactical deliverables. The end result is a deep understanding of a candidate’s experience to best match in a search or a fast-track understanding of a manager’s needs when recruiting into their team.
