Tabitha Aldrich-Smith

Tabitha Aldrich-Smith, VP Marketing & Communications at Eutelsat OneWeb, is an award-winning marketing communications leader. Her experience spans from rockets to royal wedding cakes, creating authentic corporate narratives that endure. With OneWeb for five years, she has led marketing communications through early funding stages, awareness campaigns, and special situations such as Covid-19, Chapter 11, and the Russia-Ukraine war.

Tabitha is responsible for developing the OneWeb brand, including the industry-standard Responsible Space initiative. She managed communications for the completion of the global constellation and 360-degree marketing and communications across PR, social media, internal, board, brand, customers, and partners. She initiated OneWeb’s B2B partner program, supporting over 50 distribution partners, and developed a marketing digital hub and performance dashboard.

Previously, Tabitha was Global Communications Director for Millicom, Group Communications Lead for Whitbread plc, and Head of External Communications for Samsung Europe. Her insights into the role of communications in designing and delivering integration during the OneWeb and Eutelsat merger, and its subsequent London listing, are highly anticipated.

Monique Simpson

Monique Simpson, Communications Lead at Eutelsat OneWeb, is a high-impact communications expert with a decade of experience across internal, external, partner, customer, and B2B corporate communications. Her strengths lie in crisis and risk management, having managed communications during a live terrorism event, civil defense emergencies, and significant revenue drops.

Monique has delivered award-winning diversity and inclusion programs, viral aircraft safety video campaigns, and recently managed communications for a $3.4B international merger for Eutelsat Group. At OneWeb, she developed and implemented the Internal Communications strategy for the merger, engaging over 2,000 employees worldwide.

Originally from New Zealand, Monique brings authenticity to her communications, winning hearts and minds with a people-centered, transparent style. Her experience spans public and private sectors in aerospace, insurance, aviation, TV, and FMCG industries. Her insights from the Eutelsat OneWeb merger will be shared in the upcoming webinar on M&A.
