Job Overview:
Our client is a leader in their field and entrepreneurial in their business operations; as part of a recent restructure they are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join the team and focus on engaging and informing predominantly operational audiences. With sites across the UK, the role will be largely remote but with regular travel to HQ (Oxford) and operational sites across the UK.
As Internal Communications Manager, you will work closely with colleagues across External Communications, HR and Operations, and will:
- Devise and deliver integrated communications plans to inform and engage non-office based operational audiences, focusing activity on relevant and proven channels and with specific tailoring to those audience groups
- Create high-quality written, visual and digital content for internal channels, including leadership messages, campaign materials, news stories, videos, presentations and event communications
- Support the planning and delivery of internal events
- Support on crisis communications
- Manage external agency relationships where required
- Use data and metrics to measure and improve the outcomes of your comms
About you:
We’re looking for experienced Internal Communications Managers, with strong and recent exposure to non-office based audiences, wanting to take that next step and have more responsibility and greater autonomy. You will be a strong IC generalist with a track record of delivering real impact and outcomes to these audiences. A highly skilled comms professional, you will be a proven self-starter, creative, a ‘problem solver’ and a great relationship builder.
This is an exciting role as part of a newly formed comms structure. The role is offered on a largely remote basis, with regular time spent in Oxford and operational sites as required.
