Exciting opportunity for a Head of Communications to join a leading multinational automotive manufacturer.
*This is a 12 month FTC to start by early November.*
You will be responsible for the corporate communications strategy, devising, developing and delivering all communications for the business both internally and externally.
Key skills/responsibilities:
Lead and develop the communications team, including internal communications, external communications, brand and events.
Manage the corporate reputation for the business, protecting and promoting the brand.
Continually develop the corporate narrative, ensuring its alignment with the wider business priorities.
Manage the PR and social media strategy with the support of the team and the PR agency.
You will have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advice and influence senior leaders as required. Acting as a trusted communications advisor.
Develop and deliver the internal communications strategy, ensuring employee engagement and message alignment with external communications.
Responsible for change communications, develop and execute communication strategies and plans to effectively communicate organisational changes to internal and external audiences/stakeholders.
Working with the Events Manager and wider team to plan, execute and attend relevant industry/customer and media events as well as internal employee events.
You will thrive in both thinking strategically and acting tactically, not afraid to be hands on with the communications delivery.
Ability to operate in a organisation going through significant transformation.
Ability to jump straight in and hit the ground running.
Proven experience in working in a global, matrix, complex organisation.
Background in automotive and/or wider manufacturing industry would be highly desirable.
