Regulated business needs an experienced Internal Communications professional to lead small team and put in place an internal communications and engagement strategy. Putting in place a regular drum beat of comms and support leadership engagement for many hard to reach, digital low colleagues. As well support change programmes and develop culture.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, the Internal Communications Manager’s specific responsibilities include:
Working with senior leadership team on engagement and visibility programmes
Review channels and develop / introduce new ways to communicate with network
Ensure a regular drumbeat of comms that is measured and use analytics to continuously improve
Working closely with HR for specific engagement and employee experience campaigns and events and lead on engagement survey
Develop and execute campaigns with wider comms team and line manage comms executives – be internal lead on any crisis comms incidents
Work across the business to educate on what good communications can do and develop relationships
Must have previous internal communications manager level experience gained working in a corporate business – ideally with hard to reach colleagues. Able to challenge and influence.
There is flex working with this role but expect to be in office three days a week. Can be based in Manchester or Preston office.
