Job Overview

Our client is a leader in providing global environmental solutions, and innovative, sustainable and smart management of natural resources. This phenomenal and well-established organisation is looking for a Pardot expert to join the marketing function.

The successful automation specialist will lead a team of two executives, coaching and developing their expertise across CRM platform specifically as well as other digital marketing tools, reporting to the Head of Marketing.

 

This key position will be responsible for contributing to and tactical execution of long-term marketing plans, in line with regional sales and retention strategies as well as the company’s medium-term plans and overall business development strategy.

There are core objectives in doubling revenue by 2030, by providing marketing for the regional sales and growth plans and ensuring an ROI from all I&C marketing activities. They will be responsible for creating, owning, delivering and measuring marketing success to drive forward sales and customer retention in this key area for the company.

 

What will I be Doing?

  • Ownership and management of email automation, nurturing programmes and events.

  • Building Pardot email campaigns, landing pages, forms, Salesforce campaigns, lead scoring and associated workflows to support demand generation and event programmes.

  • Go-to expert in the Pardot platform and ideally in CRM products such as Salesforce (Service and Sales and Experience Cloud) to meet process standards for accurate, efficient reporting and lead generation and lead capture.

  • Monitoring the lead management process to ensure leads are being assigned appropriately and data is logged accurately.

  • Analysing business information, economic trends and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing planning purposes.

  • Delivering marketing ROI against a fixed annual budget. The candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of new business sales and the improvements in the retention of UK business customers.

  • Working across a range of marketing channels including, but not limited to: inbound and outbound marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, paid search advertising, social media marketing, and direct marketing.

  • Developing end-to-end marketing planning, including delivery, quality control and evaluation of marketing campaigns within agreed budget and timescales.

  • Working with the internal brand and design team and external marketing agencies on campaign creation and measurement.

  • Line management of two Marketing Executives.

  • Constantly striving to deliver the best ROI and ROO, by monitoring and analysing multi-channel data focusing not only on MQL but also SQL.

What are the Requirements?

To be successful in this role you need to be a seasoned B2B marketer. You must have a positive mindset with a ‘can do’ attitude and be pragmatic, robust and resilient. The role requires constantly focusing on CRO and the quality of MQLs, and proving such through data.

A successful applicant will have experience of:

  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to automation – we are looking for a Pardot specialist with at least 3 years of in-depth experience on the platform to lead the organisation and train colleagues to a confident level.

  • Developing and managing digital customer acquisition and retention campaigns across paid and owned digital channels as well as offline marketing channels.

  • Manage stakeholders across the marketing, sales and board level.

  • Strong presentation and influencing skills.

  • Identifying, testing and implementing new and innovative ways of marketing and selling, while meeting targets and carrying out business-as-usual activities without interruptions.

  • Analysing and reporting on multiple campaigns and their results.
