Communications Associate (12-month FTC)
Location: Hybrid, London
Start Date: Immediate
An exciting opportunity has come up to join a leading property company on a12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). With a strong focus on creating innovative and sustainable spaces, this company has a rich history of shaping the retail and property landscape across the UK.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of internal and external communications, helping to enhance the company's public image, engage employees, and support key business objectives. It’s a great chance for someone to get involved in a wide range of communications activities, from content creation and media relations to social media management.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Writing and editing content across various platforms, from internal updates and press releases to social media posts and blog articles.
Internal Communications: Developing strategies and creating engaging content to keep colleagues informed and connected. You'll also be helping to update the intranet and supporting internal events.
Social Media: Overseeing the company’s social media presence, creating content, engaging with followers, and tracking performance.
Media Relations: Working closely with the press office, liaising with journalists, drafting press materials, and helping to secure positive media coverage.
Website Management: Assisting in the upkeep of the company’s website, including publishing financial results and ensuring content stays fresh and relevant.
Brand Asset Management: Managing corporate photos, videos, and design work, ensuring everything is on-brand and stored correctly.
Crisis Communication: Supporting with crisis comms if any unexpected events arise that may impact the company’s reputation.
Analytics & Reporting: Tracking the effectiveness of communications campaigns and using data to guide future initiatives.
Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of materials for full-year and half-year financial results, including copywriting and proofreading.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience: Previous experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or digital media, ideally in a similar industry.
Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills, with a good eye for content that works across different platforms. Proficiency in image/video editing tools like Canva or InDesign is a plus.
Adaptability: You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and can juggle multiple tasks with ease.
Tech-savvy: You’re confident using Microsoft Office and familiar with analytics tools to measure campaign performance.
Personality: You’ll need to be proactive, organised, and a natural team player, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
