​Here’s a brilliant opportunity for a skilled communicator to take on a critical external affairs role in renewable energy projects at one of the largest and most high-profile property management companies in the UK.

With several hundred years of history, this unique business has a diverse portfolio that includes some of the UK’s most iconic real estate, London & regional retail and substantial rural assets. It’s also responsible for the seabed and half the foreshore of England, Wales & Northern Ireland and this person will be pivotal in telling the story of the significant and fast-growing role it plays in offshore energy, particularly as part of a flagship wind programme, with plans to power almost four million homes.

This cracking role is ideal for a senior-level comms & engagement expert with a passion for renewables and, ideally, experience of tackling really meaty issues working within energy, environmental or infrastructure programmes. You will design & deliver creative, impactful communications strategy and, in combination with agency partners, help to shape the messaging across several major marine projects with national and international resonance.  

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary, integrated External Affairs team and alongside Public Affairs and Corporate Comms specialists, you’ll need to be utterly credible and have the ability to work with multiple, genuinely diverse stakeholders including government departments, regulators, policymakers, charities, unions, conservationists, onshore and marine communities, among many others.
