​Would you like to use your communications knowledge, skills and experience to take meaningful climate action? A not-for-profit organisation that brings together legal and industry professionals to create clauses that make tackling the climate crisis part of the drafting process in all contractual documents is looking for their first Head of Communications to join the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the organisation’s communications strategy and policy

• Assuming overall editorial control for all communications, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms

• Actively seeking out and thinking creatively about opportunities to raise the organisation’s profile with target audiences

• Developing and improving a suite of key messages to be used to communicate with a range of audiences

• Building communications relationships with journalists and other platform managers

• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally

• Line managing one team member

Key skills:

• A keen interest in using your communications experience to take meaningful climate action

• Experience in creating and delivering a communications strategy for a diverse range of audiences and platforms, ideally gained within a B2B or legal environment

• Solid understanding of digital communications and social media

• Proven track record of building and maintaining contacts with the media

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
