Internal Communications Lead

This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic centralised communications team, driving transformation within a B2B Manufacturer. The position will be very important in establishing a new purpose and culture.

Purpose of the Role:

  • Develop strategies to build employee engagement and support for the company's purpose, strategy, and behaviours in the division

  • Collaborate with the division's leaders to plan employee engagement strategies supporting performance priorities through a time of transformation

  • Provide expert advice to the division leader and the division's leadership team to enhance their communication impact

  • Focus on select engagement campaigns aligned with the company's strategic direction and annual Communications strategy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise insights to shape stakeholder and employee engagement strategies

  • Identify opportunities to streamline tactical requests

  • Partner with People Team and Communications Leadership to anticipate issues

  • Offer strategic advice to executive-level leaders based on experience and industry best practices

  • Some corporate communications responsibilities

  • Leverage corporate and divisional narratives for consistent messaging

  • Commission compelling content for internal and external channels

  • Recommend interventions to drive employee understanding of business priorities

  • Support programmes fostering high performance, care, and belonging

  • Leverage key moments to influence external belief in strategy and positive reputation

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record in employee communications for high-impact change programmes

  • Extensive change management experience using proven methodologies

  • Passion for engineering or technology sector

  • Excellent strategic capability and ability to deliver in complex environments
