Marketing & Communications Manager

Job Description 

VMA GROUP are working with an exciting organisation based around London Bridge, who are working within the renewable sector, our client is seeking an ambitious and proactive communications professional with 6-9 years of experience; ideally from the renewable energy, utilities, electricity, or power sectors.

• Bring excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills, with the ability to deliver compelling stories for a global, multi-location audience.

• be organised, metrics-driven, and capable of tracking key marcomms KPIs.

• Be a strong team player with an independent streak, you’re eager to hit the ground running, lead projects, and drive tangible value for your team and the business.

• Spanish (priority) or Italian language proficiency is a significant advantage.

Key Responsilibities:

• Design and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives.

• Create compelling, platform-tailored content for social media, newsletters, video scripts, and internal communications.

• Oversee content management across key channels, including the intranet, website, and social media platforms.

• Lead internal communications efforts by drafting speaker notes, emails, newsletters, and support materials for global town halls and team updates.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance internal communication, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with company messaging.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal communications planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring messages resonate across the organisation.

• Assist in managing relationships with PR agencies, ensuring proactive and impactful external communications.

• Drive social media engagement by curating content calendars, analysing trends, and optimising posts for maximum impact.

• Track, measure, and report on key performance metrics for content, PR, and social media initiatives.

• Act as a storyteller across global markets, curating and sharing stories for both internal and external audiences.

• Organise and maintain content libraries (videos, photos, written materials) in partnership with the visual content manager, ensuring easy team access.

• Produce internal reports, presentations, and key materials for stakeholders.

• Lead special projects, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Be on-site in the London office at least two days per week.
