Public service provider operating in a regulated environment is seeking an experienced Head of Internal Communications to lead team.

With a focus on developing and improving comms and engagement for hard to reach, dispersed workforce.

Specific responsibilities include:

Create and develop strategy for leadership engagement programme.
Develop a content and campaign calendar to ensure regular update ands and drumbeat of comms.
Manage engagement and pulse surveys, forums, etc to continually track and better target comms.
Support change comms programmes and wider campaigns for health and safety and well being.
Lead EVP and ED&I programme comms.
Lead high performing team.
Oversee and develop channel and content strategy - full audit and improvement.
Member of crisis response team and some out of hours media on call required.
Act as trusted advisor to leadership team, able to influence and challenge.

Candidates must have previous senior internal communications head or lead experience, ideally gained in energy, utilities or public services provider in a commercial business.

Track record of working closely with senior leadership team and developing a strong narrative that supports the business' purpose.

Must have previous line management experience.

Hybrid working is three days on site.
