Exciting new role for an experienced Media Relations professional to join a global, logistics business. This is a brand new role in the team to manage and enhance the company’s media presence across a large and varied business portfolio in Europe.

You will build and maintain relationships across key trade and national media, implementing media strategies in alignment with the business objectives.

Key responsibilities/skills:

Develop and deliver media relations strategies to promote the company’s brand, values and, business objectives.
Maintain strong media/press relationships across both trade and national.
Develop key messages, press releases and other media materials.
Develop and maintain a crisis communications plan.
Strong stakeholder management/relationship building skills. You will work closely with the Director of Communications in each of the markets.
Advise the leadership team and subject matter experts for media interviews or briefings.
You will have a proven track record of developing and delivering media relations/corporate PR strategies.
A background in Corporate Comms/Media Relations in a B2B environment is required – agency or in house.
Experience working in a large global organisation would be helpful.
